     Presuming that coffee is an article of interest to you, we ask permission to call your attention to a brand that we are now introducing in your state.  It is the highest grade of Java & Mocha that the world produces.

     This coffee we have sold locally for many years, but have not endeavored to place it in distant markets, owing to the fact that it would not keep fresh in the old style packages.  We have perfected a patented process for packing this coffee in vacuum.  All the air is exhausted from the can, and it will keep perfectly for any length of time.

     Our coffee received the highest award and gold medal at the Mid-Winter fair of 1894, and was the only coffee exhibited at the first Pure Food Exhibition in San Francisco in 1895.

     The coffee is recommended for its delicious flavor and smooth drinking quality.  We offer it as an article sure to please, and we earnestly request that with your next order for groceries you include a one or two pound can of HILLS BROS. HIGHEST GRADE Java & Mocha coffee.
